Deputy Prime Mininster Bozidar Djelic: "The goal of PRACE is to keep EU competitive (in Supercomputing) with the US, China and India."
One of the key areas in which modern Supercomputers are used is in the modeling of climate change. According to Djelic, "Serbia's goal is to become a true regional center in climate change (modeling)."
Djelic: "The Institute of Physics in Belgrade will be transformed into a great campus of science."

The director told me one thing I want to share with you. He told me that there is nothing impossible or too hard for the Serbians to achieve. That is very inspiring when you work in a team. I think the cooperation between Barcelona and Serbia in this field is going to be an incentive for these fabulous researchers to come back one day to Serbia and work for the progress of this country."
