A workshop to bring together the EGEE user community with those in the EGI_DS project is organized on 17 December 2008 at LAL (Orsay, France). The goals are the following:

• For users to understand how current support functions will be handled in the EGI-era and how the users and scientific communities are expected to interact with the EGI/NGI management.
• For those involved in EGI_DS to understand the expectations/needs of the user community and to use that information to inform their design decisions.
