Today Institute of Physics hosted a visit from Prof. Jonathan R. Ellis Adviser to the Director-General for relations with Non-Member States European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) and gave a lecture on Testing theories with the LHC.
As a part of it, he visited SCL where Prof. Aleksandar Belic and Prof. Aleksandar Bogojevic welcomed the guest on behalf of SCL and shortly presented the laboratory, its members, recent work, ongoing and future research and development projects, as well as SCL's high performance computing infrastructure integrated in EGEE.
